Every morning, the city's largest market sets up along this wide boulevard, amid fruit stalls and clothing stands. The Périer metro station is only 200 meters away. Convenient, especially at peak hours. Count on about fifteen minutes to reach the Old Port.

From the entrance, you notice a bright lobby, understated and free of unnecessary frills. The residence has nine floors and around sixty units, served by elevator. Studios designed for two, between 18 and 24 m², double bed, kitchenette with ceramic hob and dishwasher. Two-room apartments for four, with a sofa bed in the living room and a separate bedroom for a peaceful night's sleep. Some studios open onto a balcony. Most simply overlook the street or the inner courtyard.

On the top floor, the fitness room enjoys an unobstructed view over the Marseille rooftops. On clear days, you can make out the silhouette of Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde in the distance. Going back down, the breakfast room opens onto a heated terrace, buffet from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., pastries and coffee as much as you like. Breakfast is not included in the room rate; an extra charge applies and must be paid on site. The formula remains practical for short stays, when you do not want to go looking for a bakery first thing in the morning.

Parking follows the same logic. There is indeed an underground parking garage, in the basement of the building, but access is charged in addition to the nightly rate. For those arriving by car from the motorway, it's best to include this cost in the budget before booking.

At reception, open day and night, you drop off your luggage and collect your keys. Then head to the Vélodrome stadium, a ten-minute walk away, or to La Canebière and the Old Port, a little farther on. The Parc du 26e Centenaire, ten hectares of lawns and shade, lies just behind the residence. A break before setting off again.

The calanques and coves along the coast remain a bit far to reach without a car. The Frioul Islands, however, can be reached by boat from the Old Port for a half-day escape.

One last tip: go up to the breakfast room around 7 a.m. The terrace is still empty, the sun is already beating down there, before the groups arrive.
